Key Job Areas
- Answer calls in line with Centre standards and guidelines.
- Listen carefully to callers in order to identify the caller’s requirements.
- Ensure the call is forwarded to the relevant team within the centre appropriate to the caller’s needs.
- Ensure call waiting time and holding time is kept to a minimum and is in line with Centre standards.
- Use caller’s name when possible to build rapport.
- Ensure every potential sales opportunity is recognised and maximised in order to contribute to new business development.
- Work with colleagues and other teams across the Centre to seek out and deliver continuous improvement and provide a seamless service to customers.
Person Specification
The successful candidate for this role should:
- Be computer literate specifically in Word and Excel.
- Be very flexible and willing to undertake varied tasks.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent levels of customer service.
- Possess excellent team working skills
