VAT Reduction on Lexus Range
The new VAT reduction of 2.5 per cent has been applied across the Lexus range from 1st December 2008.
The new 15 per cent VAT rate comes into force on 1st December and Lexus has responded rapidly ensuring that the cost of all its models are reduced to reflect the change and thereby benefitting car buyers at the first available opportunity.
The VAT reduction also applies to vehicle options and on-the-road vehicle pricing also takes into account the impact of the new rate on delivery and number plate charges.
It means that the recently launched new IS 2009 range, which benefitted from a price reduction compared to the previous model, is now even more value for money with the new IS 220d SE priced at just £22,015 on-the-road, compared to £23,192 for the previous IS 220d. Other models are also reduced in price with the popular RX 400h luxury hybrid SUV now with an OTR starting from £35,505 - £768 less.
