Lexus Motability
If you are in receipt of the Higher Rate Motability Component of Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Motability Supplement you can use this allowance to fund a new Lexus or even Approved Pre-Owned Lexus though the Motability Scheme.
Lexus Motability Contract Hire is available on certain new Lexus IS models whilst all other Lexus models including all Lexus Approved Pre-Owned vehicles up to a certain age and dependant on the length of the finance agreement may be purchased via the Motability Hire Purchase Scheme.
Fund your vehicle through Motability and you can enjoy the freedom of a new car every three, four or five years. Because your car also comes with an all-inclusive package of servicing and maintenance as well as breakdown cover and insurance, you’ll enjoy completely worry-free motoring.
You can choose one of three schemes to fund your vehicle through Lexus Motability:
- A three year Motability Contract Hire scheme for new Lexus vehicles
- A three, four or five year, Motability Hire Purchase scheme for new Lexus vehicles
- A three, four or five year, Motability Hire Purchase scheme for Lexus Approved Pre-Owned vehicles
Your Responsibilites
As part of the scheme you are required to pay all or part of your HRMC of DLA or WPMS to Motability throughout the agreement. You are also required to pay any balance of the cost to the supplying Lexus Centre and pay for any adaptations you require and their fitting. You are also responsible for paying any licensing charges or fines relating to the vehicle.
Motability Three Year Contract Hire for New Lexus Vehicles
This scheme offers peace-of-mind motoring which provides the following:
- A new Lexus of your choice every three years
- Insurance and personal accident cover *
- Servicing and maintenance
- Full breakdown assistance from RAC
- Free replacement tyres fitted by Kwik-Fit
- Window or windscreen replacement at no extra cost
*With the Motability Contract Hire package you don't need to drive. You can nominate up to two drivers who may be friends or relatives, and parents or carers can apply on behalf of a child aged three years and upwards.
Please note: If you choose the Motability Contract Hire scheme you must have at least 12 months' award length remaining. Only certain vehicles from the Lexus IS range are available on Lexus Motability Contract Hire. All other Lexus models including Approved Pre-Owned vehicles may be purchased via the Lexus Motability Hire Purchase Scheme.
