Lexus Edgware Road celebrates its new 'home'

The event at Lexus Edgware Road celebrated the business’ move to its newly opened £8 million Centre.

The business relocated from its previous tucked-away location further down the Edgware Road to its new home in August and the evening provided the opportunity to both celebrate its success and thank customers for their support over the years.

As well as special guest Arsenal Football Club Manager Arsène Wenger, eentertainment during the evening also included a spectacular display from aerial acrobats who dropped from the ceiling of the two-storey Centre and live sushi demonstrations by chefs from renowned London restaurant Nobu whilst background music was provided by a pianist playing a white baby grand piano.

Aerial Acrobats captivated the audience with their breath-taking display. Cascade performed their Aerial Silks or "Tissu" to give its correct name, a spectacular, dynamic, and graceful routine mixed with a hint of danger. Displaying extraordinary physical strength, these amazing agile artistes performed a slow contortion on two pieces of white fabric, high above the audience.

Dressed in white, the aerial acrobats as well as the pianist who played on the white baby grand piano, reflected the evening’s theme - white is the new black.

The night sky was lit by Sky Trackers, tracing the clear white light high into the winter darkness whilst brilliant shafts of clear white moving light in an ever changing pattern lit the central atrium.

The showroom and the staircase leading to the upper level were decorated with seasonal white flowers arranged in a contemporary style.

Three white Lexus vehicles completed the effect. The visually stunning new IS F took centre stage in the ground-floor area creating maximum impact as guests entered the Centre. Upstairs the RX 400h and LS 600h – both in white – were on display. Clever and subtle lighting arrangements lit the cars underneath – hybrid blue lighting merged with the clean white lines of the vehicles for an even more dramatic effect.

Guests were presented with a departure gift of Lexus branded white calla lilies at the end of the evening.
