Special Guests at Lexus Edgware Road
Lexus GB director Belinda Poole was among the guests at the Lexus Edgware Road launch event.
As well as a number of personnel from Lexus GB, Junzo Shimizu, president of Lexus Edgware Road’s global parent Toyota Tsusho Corporation and TTC’s London managing director Yukio Ogawa were among the special guests. All took to the stage and delivered speeches and thanks to the guests who attended the launch as did Lexus Edgware Road general manager Diana Mackinnon.

Ms Poole (pictured below right) presented Lexus Edgware Road general manager Diana Mackinnon (below far right) with a framed picture capturing the Lexus philosophy ‘Pursuit of Perfection’ in Japanese as a gift from Lexus GB.
She said: “We are very proud that we have won the JD Power Survey for customer satisfaction every year it has ran for the past eight years and that is because we have the people in the Centres who provide the Lexus experience to all our customers.”

TTC operates automotive retail and manufacturing interests all over the world representing Toyota and Lexus in 120 countries. The investment in the new Lexus Edgware Road Centre has been a central focus for the Board and many made the trip from Japan especially for the event including TTC Japan president Junzo Shimizu.
Mr Shimizu bought a taste of Japan to the celebrations when he led the guests in a sake toast using traditional wooden ‘cups’ which guests were able to take home with them.

She said: “This evening, for us, is all about our relationship. Whether you are an existing customer or not, whether you drove a Lexus here or not, or whether you will be driving one away, we would like to thank you for your time, your help and your enthusiasm for what we do.

“The team here has exactly the right mix of experience, knowledge and the enthusiasm which make being part of the Lexus family a pleasure for us all.”
